Service Description
For families seeking expert support during the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process. Designed to help families understand their child’s rights, improve communication with schools, and ensure educational goals align with behavioral and developmental needs. Services may include: Consultation Document review Meeting preparation Attendance (in-person or virtual) as needed. Travel fee: Up to 20 miles from clinic ($0.75/mile for distances beyond 20 miles) Rate: $150 per hour (1-hour minimum) Private pay only; not billable to insurance.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & No-Show Policy (Private Pay Services) To provide consistent, high-quality services and ensure fair scheduling for all families, session times are reserved specifically for your child. Because private pay appointments require dedicated clinician time and preparation, we ask families to carefully follow the cancellation guidelines below. Cancellation Notice Requirement We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows us to offer the time to another family and maintain efficient scheduling. Late Cancellation Fee Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session cost. This fee applies because: The appointment time has been reserved exclusively for your child. Clinicians prepare materials and programming in advance. Short-notice cancellations often cannot be filled. No-Show Policy If a client does not attend a scheduled session and no prior notice is provided, this is considered a no-show and will also incur a 50% session fee. Illness & Emergencies We understand that unexpected situations occur. If illness or emergencies arise, please notify us as soon as possible. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of Bright Connections Behavioral when circumstances are unavoidable. Payment of Fees Cancellation or no-show fees must be paid prior to scheduling future private pay sessions unless otherwise arranged.
